Review overview

Casper is a newly emerging yet quickly rising star in the bedding industry. The mattress is considered reasonable pricing regarding its performance and quality. So what makes it so popular? The mattress comes with 4 layers.

The first is a 1.5-inch poly foam layer, which is pressure-responsive with comfort, cooling effect, and bouncing ability.

The second layer is a slab of 1.5-inch memory foam which is even more sensitive to pressure to provide greater support. This layer is put under the polyfoam to solve the problem of heat harboring of memory foam.

The third layer is another 1.5-inch poly foam, served as a transitional layer between the two soft layers above and the bottom firmest layer.

And the last one is 5-inch poly foam, which served as a foundational layer. This design is successful in giving users responsiveness yet perfect contouring feeling at the same time.

PROs.

  • A combination of responsive, cooling and contouring effect of polyfoam and memory foam provides the best sleep
  • It has a white fabric cover on its surface which is made from Belgium and the US. The cover is stretchy, soft and also contributes to the cooling and breathability of the mattress
  • The Casper comes with 100 nights trial. You can return for free within 100 days but remember to keep your shipment receipt!

CONs.

  • The support is not enough for heavy sleepers. Since the top layer is quite soft, heavy sleepers can sink up to 3 inches and then hit the firm supporting layers.
  • The edges of the mattress are among the weakest and worst! You can easily sink deeply if sitting directly on the edges. But sleeping near edges is not very common. So if you have uncommon sleeping positions, keep this in mind!
